Booking for the 2022 season has begun!

  • My Christmas mini session is a budget friendly option to those that may not have the time or resources for a full session. This is so different from the usual visit with Santa, where long lines and feeling rushed are common. Getting professional photos with Santa through our studio allows for more one-on-one time. Almost all children need time to warm up towards Santa, so prior to his anticipated arrival, we let them explore the studio.

Why and how do we make this experience extra magical?

  • We will start getting freestyle candid family shots, some traditional, perhaps you may have an idea you may want to try. I love taking those candid photographs and my clients do too! Many of the best photos are when children become more relaxed when they are not looking into the camera and or smiling in each shot, and you will love your family photos as we bring Santa into the studio.

  • This festive mini session will not be the standard 5 or 10 minutes, but an average of 20 minutes. We have plenty of time for even the shyest children to warm up and relax. Some of my sessions with Santa may require up to 25 minutes to get that one or more amazing shots if a child or children are out of sorts.

  • I suggest that families wearing classic clothing – Lots of reds, silver + gold are perfect for a Christmas Portrait session.
  • Women’s Formal Dresses & Evening Gowns, Men dressed in a suit or like is also a wonderful idea too!
  • I don’t think you can ever be too fancy for a photos hoot – add a bow tie or a sequin dress! Either way, your images will be filled with magic!
  • Its best to coordinate colours but do not be too matchy-matchy (avoid clashing with your outfit and family members). Avoid big logos, characters, or brand labels.
  • Pajamas, house coats, slippers, whatever you believe that will make your photo session magical. (Keep in mind we are unable to provide a change room).
  • Chances snow will be on the ground coming in and out of the studio, some of you that wish to wear dress shoes for portraits, if this is the case please carry inside separately.
  • After you complete your booking, we can communicate how to prepare and what to wear.

Select a date of your ideal time frame, in your description a time slot, this way I hopefully can book exactly what you are looking for, however keep in mind this is a target goal and I will need to communicate back to you and confirm the actual time and date with you in agreement. Once a deposit is received, then can I only lock that spot.

Because we book these mini-sessions back-to-back, there is no wiggle room. If you are running late, I unfortunately cannot give you extra time during your session since it would push back each session following. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early and wait in the car until the time you’ve booked, that way we can be sure to get all the photos you were hoping for of your beautiful family!

In the meantime, we can let them explore the studio. I love taking those candid photographs. Many of the best photos are children become more relaxed when they are not looking into the camera and or smiling in each shot.

  • Each mini session is 20 minutes long. The first few minutes may be a bit awkward, but you’ll be warmed up in no time & it’ll fly by. Rest assured I’m able to catch a lot of great images in that amount of time.

We can include up to 2 grandparents in the mini session for an additional fee of $50/each. If you wish to bring more grandparents or other family members, please book a second spot. Cousins or other family members MUST book a different spot. NO pets at this time, sorry.

The session deposit is non-refundable in case of a cancellation occurring. If the cancellation is done at least 72 hours before the session, the deposit can be applied towards another session in the future. Any late session by 10 min will be subject to cancellation without the return of the deposit.

  • Please no photographs as it distracts the subject (example – family member) and me from giving my all to your session. Thanks!”
  • At the end of the session (grand finale) you may take a few photographs with myself camera in hand for personal documentary purposes and or social media posting.
